Does anyone know of any good baby development books?

I am going to be a mom for the first time. I am looking for a book that has things in it that new mothers should know.
I am particularly looking for a book telling me what my child should/ will be doing each month.
IE: Like when they start to walk, and eat baby food and solid foods, when they stand w/o help, crawl, grab, etc….

Just curious.how long does red Kool-Aid highlights last?

Know the recipe – conditioner and Kool-Aid, make a paste and apply, but how long does it last? does it rinse out after one wash, or does it last through several washes?

I’m amazed with the principles of the church. The church wants to be self reliant and independent from everything else. That way, it will succeed on it’s own or collapse on it’s own.

This is exactly what is happening in other religious aid programs. Half their entire budget comes from Federal grants. They use this money to manage their church aid programs and pay salaries. Since, federal aid money is reducing, these humanitarian programs are having impossible ways to keep their own programs running. If Obama ends aid money altogether, than church aid programs will completely collapse.

yes, i know its a random question but i don’t want to walk all the way down there and find out that gas stations don’t sell it.

how can I afford a higher education?

I had a good job in masonry, but I need to find a job less physical on my back. Last year I made too much for a gov. grant but now I am on unemployment, I would like to get higher education for a better career, but I can’t afford the cost of online college, and I made too much last year for financial aid. Any good ideas?

Kicked out of college with outstanding loans?

My fiancee graduated highschool in 2004. He started ITT Tech in the fall of that year. He was there less than 6 months and was academically dismissed for poor grades. When he enrolled, he had to pay for the entire year in student loans. He now owes $30k+ in student loans. He is devastated and wants to get back into school. He is currently only making $8/hour and cant afford to make his loan payments so they are currently in default. What options do we have? He’s desperate to get back into school. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is financial aid available for preschool?

I’m planning for my daughter to start preschool this fall, but unfortunately there are no quality public schools in the Los Angeles area. My only choice, if I want her to actually learn something, is to send her to a private school, but I can’t afford one. Does anyone know if there are any programs in the State of California, or even any Federal programs, that provide financial assistance for private schools at the preschool level?

Does anyone know if there is a cure for hard of hearing people? Forget hearing aids of cochlear implants. I mean a way to actually cure any hearing problems and make the hearing as good as new?

I am in need of some help. I like to think of myself as a progressive liberal, so I go out of my way to help others. After watching a documentary on how hard it is for ex-cons to get their lives together after prison, I decided to do something. I opened my home to some men who were getting out of prison soon. At first it was ok, my wife and daughters were a little angry but the men were very happy. They began doing things other then what I told them, like eating my snacks or wearing my clothes in mock video’s of me. They would bust into the bathroom and take pictures of me on the toilet. One of them started dating my daughter, which is great, but she is 18 and he is 48 and has AIDS. They sell my things and invite their friends over for nightly parties, which makes it hard to sleep. And when they get drunk, they harrass my wife and daughters to no end. I don’t know what to do. I know I can’t turn these men away, after what society has done to them, but I’m losing my family and career!
